April 14th 2024 - Pastor James Tyler - 1 John 2:18-19 - "They Went Out From Us"

Today we see the fact of antichrists, and get an important instruction regarding what we should do about that fact. 

April 7th 2024 - Pastor James Tyler - 1 John 2:15-17 - "Love Not The World"

As God issues an injunction against loving the world, we need to take care that we understand what He has in view, and how we can even begin to obey this commandment. 

Also, the part of this sermon which we said will be clarified next Sunday HAS been removed, lest anyone be caused to stumble. 

March 31st 2024 - Pastor James Tyler - John 20:1-18 - "Three Questions"

As we celebrate the resurrection, we consider three questions worth answering in light of this day. 

We observe Lord's Supper once per month, as well as on each Resurrection Sunday, and Lee Smith, one of our elders, brought a devotional message which follows immediately after the sermon.

Since the Holy Spirit mentions to whom He is addressing this epistle, we stop and consider the implications for us.

As God's Word continues to explain how we can know that we know Jesus, we learn another challenging truth about what might be going on in our hearts.

Today we begin to explore the overarching theme of developing in community with a foray into how Christ makes the old commandments new, and especially the one to love one another. 

February 18th 2024 - Pastor James Tyler - 1 John 2:6 - "This is How You Walk"

If we want to walk as Jesus walked, we must abide in Him. Today we consider what that means. You will also hear a devotional from Cecil Smith, who is one of our elders, which he share with us prior to observing Lord's supper.
